Hays are looking for a Maintenance Plumber to join a housing team doing reactive & planned works in Edinburgh. Your new company You will be joining the existing trade team at one of the largest employers in the Edinburgh area. They work across various domestic & commercial properties and require a reliable, hard-working plumber to begin working on their void & occupied housing. Your new role You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.Duties will include: Diagnosing and fixing plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures. Installing and maintaining water supply systems, drainage systems, and heating systems. Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction. Keeping accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies. What you'll need to succeed We are looking to speak to plumbers with a background in maintenance, ideally working in housing or commercial properties such as schools or offices. You will need to be able to provide your up-to-date trade qualifications and show proof of a valid UK Driving licence with minimal endorsements. As this role is within domestic & commercial properties, you should be comfortable working with members of the public. What you'll get in return You will be offered a very long-term position on a standard Monday to Friday work pattern. We will pay you weekly PAYE with no additional charges, and you will have the option to have paid annual leave accrued. You will receive regular updates from your Hays consultant throughout your contract.
