We are currently recruiting for an Operations Support Manager at Oxford Brookes University. Location: Oxford Brookes University Rate of pay: £36,000 per annum Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Sunday Key responsibilities: -Passion to deliver the best in the name of Gather & Gather. A sharp eye for detail to identify and implement improvements. -Responsible for a portfolio of sites to ensure that the service and operation is delivered in line with G&G standards, the client’s expectations and achieving all set financial targets and budgets. -To report to and assist the Operations Manager with ongoing projects. This position oversees all catering operations within Oxford Brookes University. To deliver great experiences, focusing on brilliant spaces, energetic and engaged people and amazing food. -Identifies, motivates, trains, develops and directs Unit managers to deliver exceptional results and accomplish goals and projects. -Drives a culture of excellence throughout the business and has a passion for quality food preparation and taste -As the Operations Support Manager you will lead and develop a team of Unit Managers. You will oversee the units, vending & new ventures. -A passion for food, customer service and a hands-on management style is essential. -The position will be supporting each site with the day to day management of the contract ensuring that all client expectations are surpassed, providing innovation and training. -Overseeing GP, Labour, Controllable Costs, Compliance for all sites. Implementing strategies to control costs. Must Possess solid financial knowledge. -Ensuring the Highest Level of H&S is adhered to. Coaching & Controlling all compliance across the units. -Build Consistency of the offer and service across the estate, continually reviewing standards and processes. -Identify any additional opportunities to make improvements, constantly looking for new ideas in technology, food, service & people. -Collaborating with the Operations Manager to implementing new ways of improving our presence. -Manage client and stakeholder relationships whilst ensuring contractual compliance and adherence to company policies.
