We are recruiting for a Site Manager to join a successful M&E Project Management and delivery team in the North West to oversee site operations on Mechanical, Electrical and fabric refurbishment projects. The Site Manager will support the Northern department providing site-based coordination and management of internal and sub-contracted multi-disciplined labour for secured projects. When not site based, the role may involve the scoping, surveying, and pricing of tenders across the region, generating quotations, ordering materials and assisting the wider project team as required. The role is client facing, requiring a presentable and professional approach at all times.

Site Manager Responsibilities
1. Proven track record of delivering Fit-Out & MEP or Civil Projects to an extremely high standard.
2. Possessing a professional demeanour, client facing and with a keen focus on customer care in all instances.
3. Ability to fully understand the client requirement, technical specifications, drawings and project requirement holistically.
4. Assist with programming, scheduling of works, and labour allocation.
5. Familiarity with producing onsite dilapidations and completion of validations.
6. Understanding the importance of the development and submission of RFI’s, TQ’s and driving close out of items raised.
7. Assist the H&S Team and Project Managers with the of CDM & site plans where relevant.
8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new ways of working.
9. Drive the company’s vision, values and work ethic, contributing to the growth of the business.
10. Oversee and coordinate the mobilisation of projects.
11. Review sub-contractor RAMS
12. Deliver Toolbox talks, Pre-start briefings and CDM inductions where relevant.
13. Authorised Person responsibilities (AP) – Trade / Capability specific.
14. Issue permits to work to sub-contractors – Capability specific.
15. Attend client progress meetings and report on project progress.
16. Endeavour to ensure work is delivered defect/snag free.
17. Ensure that records are accurate and comply with organisational and legal requirements.
18. Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties or problems that may arise on site.
19. Review and report on progress in conjunction with construction programmes.
20. When not site based, progress customer enquiries, surveys sites, generate competitive quotations with support of management with larger tenders.
21. Work away from home as the business requires.
Requirements:
1. Demonstratable experience with a minimum 5 years’ experience in a Main Contractor role.
2. Be based within the North West area - M62/M6 "cross".
3. Full Driving License.
4. Valid CSCS Card.
5. SMSTS Qualification / Equal Approved.
6. First Aid Trained.
7. DBS Check – Basic or Enhanced (will be completed upon appointment if not current).
8. A logical and lateral thinker with the ability to problem solve.
9. Excellent time management, ability to delegate, prioritise key tasks and workload when working to strict deadlines.
10. Financial / Sanction Check (will be completed upon appointment if not current).
11. Ideally a Mechanical or Fabric/civil sector background.
