One of my clients in the Worcester area is looking for an embedded firmware engineer to join their multi-disciplinary R+D teams, where you'll get involved in a mixture of new product development on both bare metal & embedded Linux (Yocto) platforms.

Essential criteria:
Min. 3 years' experience developing firmware in C for bare metal embedded platforms
Experience with either motor or lighting controls
Experience with serial/communications protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART
Basic understanding of electronics/schematics.
Nice to have:
Embedded Linux experience (kernel-space, drivers, BIOS, applications, etc)
Experience with FPGA/CPLD
On offer is a salary up to £55,000 DOE + discretionary bonus, hybrid working, private healthcare (including dental and optics), as well as relocation assistance where necessary.
