What you'll do
Our specialist team of Modellers are responsible for the delivery of water treatment, wastewater, and network projects across our region.
Your responsibilities will include:
* building and verifying sewer models using INFOWORKS ICM
* using river quality modelling and survey results to assess the impact of discharges from combined sewer overflows (CSOs)
* developing outline solutions to hydraulic problems
* report writing, presenting and project management
* analysing data using Excel and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
* the project management of consultant led studies
* assisting in the delivery of in-house technical training to assist staff development
* managing a small team of modellers
What you'll need
You will:
* have a relevant degree
* have at least four years' experience in a relevant role
* have experience using InfoWorks ICM, GIS software and Microsoft Office
* have excellent communication skills
* be comfortable working on your own or as part of a team
* be comfortable managing your own time and those of other staff members to ensure deadlines are met
* ideally be chartered, or be close to becoming a chartered member, of a relevant professional body, eg, CIWEM, ICE, etc.
