Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics, as well as excellent communication skills to engage with our audience effectively.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's goals.
2. Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms.
3. Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers on all social media channels to foster community interaction.
4. Analyse social media metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency in all communications.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and public relations to keep our strategies fresh and relevant.
7. Manage paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms to increase reach and engagement.
Skills
1. Proven experience in social media management across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
2. Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply to social media.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
4. Ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights from metrics.
5. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas that resonate with target audiences.
6. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
