Key responsibilities:
* Electrical Installations: Responsible for the installation of new electrical systems, inclusive of all wiring, junctions, panels, breakers, boards, fixtures and fittings in accordance to legal and regulatory standards.
* Commercial Wiring: Install and maintain wiring of commercial buildings, ensuring that electrical systems are properly installed and meet UK building and safety regulations.
* Electrical Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of electrical systems.
* Electrical Upgrades: Upgrade existing electrical systems to meet changing needs or comply with updated safety regulations.
* Electrical Testing and Diagnosis: Use specialized tools and equipment to test electrical systems for proper functioning, voltage levels, and safety.
* Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
* Compliance with Electrical Regulations and Safety Standards: Adhere to UK electrical codes and safety standards.
* Electrical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot electrical issues and rectify them.
* Collaboration with Other Professionals: Work closely with other professionals to ensure that electrical installations meet requirements and specifications.
* Safety Precautions: Adhere to strict safety practices to minimize the risk of electrical accidents or injuries.
* Customer Service: Interact directly with building users; provide information, answer questions, and help diagnose/upgrade electrical systems.
You’ll bring to this role:
* A safety first attitude
* NVQ3 JIB Gold card or equivalent, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, 2394 and 2395 or 2391 Testing and Inspection Certification
* 1+ years of experience
