Job Summary
NHS South of England Procurement Services (SOEPS) is hosted by Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. We provide end-to-end procurement and supply chain services for Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust as well as other NHS Clients including Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB). The position is currently based in our procurement office in Portsmouth.

The main duties of this position include supporting the procurement and supply chain services provided by NHS South of England Procurement Services (SOEPS).

Qualifications Essential:
1. Level 2 qualification/GCSE higher pass or above including maths and English or equivalent qualifications, or work experience that demonstrates comparable ability in a similar field.
Experience Essential:
1. Experience of working in a service industry.
Knowledge and Skills Essential:
1. Ability to use a personal computer with a knowledge of word processing and Windows applications.
2. Working knowledge of clerical and financial procedures.
3. Familiarity with purchasing procedures workshops.
