Your new role Supply cover teachers are responsible for covering lessons that are left absent by the class teacher, so in this role you will be using existing lesson plans left for the class and making sure these are carried out to a high standard. You will need to ensure pupils are still fully engaged with the learning and be adaptable when required. You should be able to build relationships quickly and hold strong behaviour management skills. Have good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum Have a DBS or be willing to apply for one.
