Our Chef’s work together to ensure our guests receive the exceptional menus they have come to expect from the Oak Room fine dining restaurant. The kitchen team also works on events, room service, and afternoon teas, providing a full range of service and excellent development opportunities from our experienced senior team.
Commis Pastry Chef Key Attributes:
1. Familiarity with all menu items relevant to your section and preparing/presenting dishes for service to the highest standards.
2. Ensuring the correct preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the highest standards in conjunction with the section head.
3. Maintaining efficient and smooth service through forward planning.
4. Building good working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
5. Completing any reasonable task as requested by management.
6. Minimizing waste to the absolute minimum.
7. Complying with hotel policy regarding personal appearance and hygiene, ensuring uniforms are treated with utmost care.
