Job Location: Hybrid working, must be able to work out of Chippenham or Birmingham two days a week.
Salary - £33,600-£41,800pa

About the role
* Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, this is a critical role in supporting the business partnering service.
* Responsible for delivering quality financial support to the Finance Business Partner.
* Provide timely and accurate financial information that is clearly presented, explained, and effectively used to deliver the monthly reporting pack, annual budget, quarterly forecasts and longer-term strategic aims of the Group.
* The role will be responsible for ensuring consistent financial support to all colleagues, with a strong reliance placed on the production of forecasts; with positive and adverse variances being clearly understood.
* The Business Partnering team are the key interface with both internal and external parties, ensuring that the wider finance community can deliver the services required.
* Champion a truly customer-focused culture within Finance and support the function to be outward-looking and proactive in delivery of a high-quality finance service to internal and external stakeholders alike.
* Support the commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency across the organisation.
* Provision of clear, concise and actionable financial advice monthly to the business area Leadership and Executive to enable informed decision-making.
* Taking ownership of forecasting, ensuring projections have strong commercial rationale, and are activity driven wherever possible.

About you
* We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in finance business partnering (or similar discipline, who can demonstrate a track record of adding value to the organisations they work with.)
* A part or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA) with commercial experience preferred.
* Ability to understand the strategic business goals of an organisation, including delivering customer value and managing capital expenditure, with the ability to `look beyond the numbers` and understand the wider business context.
* Confident presenting data in a meaningful and effective way; understanding the needs of the end users and tailoring presentations to their requirements.
* Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, ideally with advanced Excel skills.
* Initiative-taking, results-oriented, and commercial mindset with the ability to thrive in a complex working environment.
* Great analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, issues and recommend actions.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, able to support with developing new processes and streamlining existing processes to create efficiencies.
