Description
If you have the desire to open a new office and build a team from scratch, backed by a business with more than 20 years experience in the Building Services sector then read on. You will become the head of the new office, and whilst the early stages of the role will require a lot of hard work this is by no means a standing start.
The business is based in Lancashire, Preston to be exact and they also have another office in Cumbria already. They serve clients in the Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Industrial sectors as well as being well placed on a number of frameworks for a variety of public sector and local authority projects. They're reputation in the Lancashire and Cumbria regions is very strong and whilst they do have regular works in other regions of the North West, they have decided that they would really like be more active in more regions and be even more involved in the Manchester or Liverpool construction scene.
They're well connected already and you will be able to build on existing client relationships and develop business with them accordingly. You will also be tasked with opening up new business development opportunities too. The other side of the role of leading projects mechanically, a good understanding of Mechanical Building Services is essential and experience of delivering Mechanical (and Electrical) project is required.
You do not need to be an Associate Director already, an aspirational Principal or Associate can step into this role but you will need to be able to understand Commercials, Tendering processes and Resourcing to some degree already. Chartership would be an advantage or an appetite to work towards it. You would need to be able to travel there from time to time to catch up with the wider team and for strategy meetings etc.
The new office can be based anywhere in the North West but Chester, Liverpool, Manchester or Warrington are preferable.
