Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.
What your background should look like:
1. Coordinate and supervise the implementation of the TEOA (Tyco Electronics Operational Advantage) methodology.
2. Comply with the requirements associated with the application of TEOA tools.
3. Lead and supervise the application of some TEOA Tools.
4. Carrying out and coordinating monthly factory metrics.
5. Preparation and coordination of 6 Sigma and Lean projects.
6. Training and coaching of TEOA.
7. Management of “cost saving” projects.
8. Coordinate and support 5S+1 activities across all site.
9. Carry out periodic 5S+1 audits.
10. Report TEOA metrics monthly.
11. Coordinate and participate in kaizen events.
12. Collaborate on internal audits.
13. Process Owner, ensure compliance with items included in the Process house as well as ensure proper maintenance and annual review.
Qualifications and Experience required:
14. Minimum of 3 years in industrial context
15. Knowledge of continuous improvement tools
16. Computer knowledge from the user's perspective
17. Ability to train production line operators
18. Ability to organize and define priorities
19. Ability to meet deadlines
20. Rigor and attention to detail
21. Knowledge in LEAN Methodology
22. Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
23. Knowledge in Quality Tools
24. Spoken and written English
