Business Support Officer needed in Slough, £13.34ph PAYE – Reference: RQ1293300
1. To provide excellent customer service including answering telephone enquiries, answering routine correspondence and e-mails as directed.
2. Arranging and minute taking of service meetings, recording, updating associated papers and circulation of action points.
3. To contribute to the development of effective Education and Children’s Services business partnerships, both internal and external, through establishing strong customer relationships and by delivering high quality support services.
4. To support the development and maintenance of administrative processes and systems and undertake all tasks in line with documented procedures, highlighting inefficiencies to the Team Leader.
5. Carry out document preparation including typing, formatting (using agreed house style), assembly and printing checking.
6. To undertake a range of business support functions including dealing with post, photocopying, accurate data inputting, raising and processing invoices, raising purchase orders, placing orders and processing expenses, maintaining cost centre budget spreadsheets, managing imprest accounts / petty cash where appropriate and collating regular statistical information for returns.
7. To support the project work of the team / service, to prepare research material and collate data as required.
8. To organise public and team events including responsibility for venue booking, invitation and attendance management.
9. To arrange meetings, draft agendas and prepare minutes and follow up actions.
10. To undertake any other administrative tasks required within Cambridge Education which are commensurate to the grade of the post.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis
