This post will have responsibility for the provision of financial advice to managers within the Clinical Directorates. The post holder will adopt a modern, proactive and dynamic approach to ensure the efficient and effective use of financial resources. The post holder will provide appropriate financial performance management and business planning information relating to their activities and budgets that are integral to the achievement of the objectives and targets set by the Trust. Main duties of the job Take the lead in the preparation and presentation of budgets for a range of areas across the Planned & Surgical Care Directorate. You will assist with: Calculation of budgets as part of the annual budget setting process and the production of the opening budgets.Production of timely and accurate monthly budget reports. Investigation and identification of the causes of budget variances. Producing forecast information. Proactive engagement with budget holders and other Trust colleagues.
