Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Dietitian (Rotational) based at University Hospital Ayr
What you will do:
As a result of recent internal promotion, an opportunity to join our 3 x 9 monthly permanent post rotations within South Ayrshire, has become available. Two of the rotations are based at University Hospital Ayr within Acute Services. The third rotation is based within the Community Team which provides services across the wider community of South Ayrshire, spanning from Girvan to Troon.
Our team are very supportive and keen to help your development. Opportunities are given to learn more about medical, surgical, urology and elective orthopaedics coupled with Dietetic and Diabetes Out-patient clinics within Acute. The community rotation includes service provision to a community hospital, care homes, GP clinics and domiciliary visits.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You will be mentored to complete the Flying Start programme and become a Practice Educator within your first year supporting Placements A, B & C. In addition you will have access to peer supervision and regular in-service & external professional development
