The post holder will join our Performance & Informatics (P&I) department, which is well respected and the largest of our corporate services. The P&I portfolio includes Business Intelligence & Informatics, Corporate Performance, Information Systems Development, Clinical Coding, Data Quality, Patient Access, Cancer Services, and Analytical Development.
P&I works cross-functionally to support the Trust's operational delivery of national and internal targets, ensuring high standards of patient care. A robust Performance Management Framework is embedded to track progress and support governance.
New national-level opportunities are being developed in health inequality, waiting list management, and system working, including the ‘Health Equity and the Right to Treatment’ (HEARTT) tool, awarded the ‘Innovation and Improvement in Reducing Healthcare Inequalities Award 2022’ and the ‘Best Healthcare Analytics Award 2024’ for outpatient optimisation and patient engagement.
Responsibilities include assisting in planning and redesign of services, developing training packages, managing teams responsible for patient administration, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting clinical groups in performance management.
