Acquisition Surveyor Salary £59,722 - £74,652 Benefits Profit Share Bonus Remote with a requirement to travel across the UK & Europe About We’re looking for an Acquisition Surveyor who can lead on acquiring new assets for the HX Group to support the growth strategy for the business. In particular, the key focus is to expand our current property and land portfolio in the UK and across Europe. The Role By joining our team you’ll: Acquire a significant number of property assets including property and land throughout the UK and across Europe and other commercial properties for the HX Group Lead and manage our current portfolio across the HX Group Develop the acquisitions strategy further to drive the growth agenda forward Build up a network of advisors across the UK and Europe to support the growth strategy Produce and provide business cases on all property opportunities Produce Board reports and slide decks/presentations Take ownership of regular progress and update reporting to the Property Director and Board Fosters an environment of trust and respect within the Property Team, providing support, encouraging creativity and taking responsibility. Develop win / win relationships with existing, potential and future tenants, landlords and key suppliers Build personal contacts within the professional property world including lawyers, surveyors and property agents to optimise and further expand the portfolio What you can bring to our team: A fully qualified MRICS Surveyor Professional experience of managing a varied property portfolio including land Extensive understanding of real estate, with a proven track record of successful real estate acquisitions across various property assets Analytical thinking with great written and presentation skills including preparation of business cases. Understanding of the planning process in UK and Europe Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills An ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a wider team across the UK and Europe, with minimal supervision Proven track records of meeting deadlines and delivering within agreed budgets An ability to manage multiple diverse projects with different stakeholders efficiently and effectively Drive the right balance between cost and setting performance targets to ensure we promote the right behaviour and work to drive performance up This role is home based but requires a significant amount of travel across the UK and Europe so you will need a full driving licence.
