Karen Everitt HR Director UK Operations The role of the Planning Lead is to oversee material requirements for the site, conduct the month mass balance procedure and reports, manage waste movements, audits and external reporting. Effectively manage all material movements, stocks, requirements, availability and shortfalls. Monitor scrap and repro stock levels to ensure effective space utilisation onsite. Maintaining a good working relationship with suppliers. Coordinate the monthly scrap forecast based on site requirements and sales forecast. Working with the Masterbatch and Polymer Planning Coordinator to create a structured Reclaim plan on a weekly basis, using the scrap forecast as reference. Monitoring changes in actual material usage vs forecast and adjust scrap purchases and reclaim production plans accordingly. Receipt deliveries in NAV and liaise with purchasing team on any discrepancies. Arrange transport and import/export documents for external supply of scrap. Provide comprehensive support to the Planning Manager for Sustane production, sales, and material assessments working with QC, to ensure maximum productivity and despatch. Assist the Planning Manager with driving sales of Sustane. Attend Monthly Repro and Polymer review meetings. Follow up supplier and customer complaints and implement corrective actions. Work collaboratively with QC to drive internal improvements regarding material quality and scrap levels. Monitor the NCR report and follow up with all relevant parties, implementing corrective actions where necessary. Identify any cost savings or improvements that may be beneficial to the business through supplier relations. To attend company training requirements. Coordinate the monthly stock take procedure (Mass Balance), submitting all post count reports to relevant parts of the business. A knowledge of I.T. including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience working within a planning role is essential. Experience of recycled plastics industry is desirable. Able you use your own initiative to research and keep up to date with the latest industry trends, further improving your knowledge and understanding of repro polymers and raw materials. Use of the in-house Navision Operating System. (Training will be provided) Be able to communicate at all levels from Director – Operatives. Attention to Detail. A team player and good communicator. Ability to maintain a professional manner at all times with some customer and supplier facing required.
