Main duties of the job The Specialty Doctor will be part of Tandridge multidisciplinary team and work in close collaboration with colleagues. The duties will include conducting assessments for individuals referred to the team by local referrers, providing ongoing follow-up and psychiatric intervention, effective communication with local GPs and liaison with other services and agencies. You will be required to assess referrals & undertake mental state examinations of service users. To participate in weekly ward rounds & attend multidisciplinary meetings. You will be required to attend Care Programme Approach & Section 117 meetings & mental health review tribunals. Providing up-to-date clinical information at all meetings and to ensure that medical decisions are implemented as planned.
