This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive and dynamic environment.\n\nThe Role:\nWe are looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to deliver high-quality education to students in Key Stage 1. This role requires a nurturing and adaptable individual who can maintain continuity in learning while making a positive impact on students' academic and personal development.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPlan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.\n\nAssess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and interventions where needed.\n\nCreate an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning.\n\nWork collaboratively with other teachers, teaching assistants, and school staff to ensure a smooth transition during maternity cover.\n\nMaintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom discipline.\n\nCommunicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.\n\nUphold safeguarding and welfare responsibilities in line with school policies and procedures.\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nTo be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:\n\nExperience: At least 1 year of teaching experience in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.\n\nQualifications: A relevant degree in Education or a related subject, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.\n\nSkills: Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create engaging and differentiated learning experiences.\n\nTraining: Familiarity with safeguarding policies, assessment strategies, and inclusive teaching practices.\n\nTo be considered for the higher end of the salary bracket, candidates should demonstrate:\n\nAdvanced Teaching Experience: Extensive experience in teaching KS1 with a proven track record of student progress.\n\nLeadership or Coordinator Roles: Experience as a subject lead, phase leader, or involvement in extracurricular activities.\n\nProfessional Development: Continued professional development (CPD) in primary education, including advanced training in literacy, numeracy, or SEN support.\n\nLocation:\nThis role is based in Leicester, within a well-established primary school.
