You will receive full training and it is expected that you will progress to Degree level through day-release to university.

As an Apprentice Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will:
You will work within the Building Services team alongside a dedicated team of M&E engineers. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will develop your skills in producing design calculations, creating general arrangement mechanical services layout drawings, sections and detailed drawings for construction using a Computer Aided Design (CAD) system. You will learn to carry out detailed building surveys, write reports and Schedules of Conditions.

Essential requirements:
* To meet the UCAS point requirement for the degree associated with the role.
* Minimum 5 GCSE Grades A-C/5-9 including English and Science. Maths GCSE at Grade B or above.
* A Level grades suitable (or equivalent) for direct entry onto accredited p/t apprenticeship course.
* Be willing to undertake the part-time Degree Apprenticeship course.
* Good IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office.
* Good communication skills both written and verbal.
* Driving Licence or willing/working towards obtaining a UK Driving Licence.
About the Qualification:
You will undertake a Building Services Apprenticeship at a local University who offer the course. The course usually takes 4 – 6 years on a part-time basis.
Information on the universities that offer the course will be shared in early 2025, when the courses have been released by each university.
