Description and Requirements
The newly developed role of National Manager – People and Culture Partnerships will lead and coordinate the delivery of advice, policy, and business processes to the Junior Adventures Groups (JAG) Service Delivery Australian business unit in a child-safe compliant business. You will provide the JAG Executive with insights into business performance and interventions needed to lift business capability and performance.
The role is a member of the P&C leadership team which includes a TA Manager, Payroll Manager, Workforce Planning & Systems Manager, and ER Manager. This is a senior role and the identified emergency successor to the Chief People Officer.
About the role
You will lead, mentor, and coach a team of four People and Culture (P&C) Business Partners and provide practical advice on the application of JAG P&C policy in Australia. This broadly includes workforce planning, remuneration and benefits, organisation development, workplace investigations, and basic industrial relations.
1. Coordinate the delivery of seamless P&C service into JAG AU Service Delivery
2. Establish functional metrics for JAG AU workforce, and develop long-term workforce planning action plans
3. Build and maintain a high-performing P&C functional team
4. Leverage HRIS data and reporting to drive a high-performance organisation
5. Build leadership capability aligned to JAG values
Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the sector, but the basics you’ll need to have:
Required:
1. Demonstrated experience in successfully leading P&C partnership teams in businesses with over 3,000 employees, with demonstrated potential to grow into a more senior role
2. Understanding of Modern Award interpretation including the provision of advice and application, and a basic understanding of structured remuneration and benefits
3. Experience or exposure to Organisational Development projects, and improving HRIS’ in a multi-jurisdictional business with over 3,000 employees
4. Well-developed understanding of People metrics that measure the performance of a business’ workforce
5. Ability to identify and implement or recommend process and system improvements
6. Experience coaching, partnering, supporting, and briefing senior leaders
7. Australian work rights, and current valid driver’s license
8. Current AHRI membership
9. PROSCI change management certification or equivalent
