Our Public Safety Group is a leading provider of the STORM Command and Control application, serving 70% of the police market in England & Wales, as well as providing a national solution in Scotland and internationally. We are expanding our STORM Client Solutions Consultants team and are looking for an experienced individual to join us in supporting our market-leading STORM customer base. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including ticketed issue resolution, change and transformation activities, and assisting customers in migrating to our latest Command & Control/Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) product offering, SmartSTORM. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with customers, developing strong relationships and understanding their business requirements to map them to STORM functional solutions. What you'll be doing: Provide STORM consultancy, assisting customers in configuring the system, installing new interfaces, and answering "how-to-use" questions. Understand customer business processes and requirements, advising on standard methodologies. Implement and support the STORM Product Suite, SmartSTORM, and Interface modules in customer environments. Respond to and resolve customer support tickets. Actively take part in testing new developments and changes, championing improvements. Serve as the first point of contact for technical matters for assigned customers. Join an out-of-hours support rota once sufficient experience and confidence are gained, with additional financial compensation for coverage. What you’ll bring: Knowledge of the STORM Product Suite, SmartSTORM, and Interface Modules. Familiarity with Police or Fire Command and Control concepts and functionality. Experience supporting IT systems, ideally in an Emergency Services context. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience working in an Emergency Services IT Systems and Services environment (customer or supplier). Desirable Skills: Basic understanding of various Database Management Products and Technologies. Basic knowledge of Client/Server architectures, Networking, Middleware, and Cloud platforms. Proficient in Microsoft Windows Desktop (latest versions) and Microsoft Windows Server (latest versions). Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (database concepts, table structures, and ability to write and implement queries).
