We are excited to be recruiting to a new role within the Department of Medical Physics and Bioengineering. The Head of Diagnostic Medical Physics will provide strong, dynamic leadership to all Medical Physics services provided by the Radiation Science Services, MR and Ultrasound Physics, and Nuclear Medicine Physics groups. As a Consultant Clinical Scientist, they will provide professional, expert leadership and advice to the Trust and external organisations, ensuring that the services provided are safe, effective, efficient, and patient-focused, complying with all relevant regulations, legislation, and best practices.
The post-holder will work closely with other group heads in the Department of Medical Physics and Bioengineering to ensure a seamless Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering Service.
