Job Title: Quality Management & Assurance Engineer Location: Derbyshire Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for a Quality Management and Assurance Engineer to oversee our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role involves managing internal audits, coordinating with cross-functional teams, inspecting hardware, and raising non-conformance reports. The position also includes a focus on Health and Safety and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain QMS to ensure compliance with industry standards. Conduct internal audits and prepare for external audits. Collaborate with teams to implement Corrective Preventive Action Reports (CPARs) and drive improvements. Manage hardware inspections and associated documentation, raising non-conformance reports as needed. Ensure assembly equipment is calibrated and fit for use. Support the management of suppliers, COSHH database, and Health and Safety requirements. Contribute to quality-related projects and process improvements. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related field. 5 years of experience in a quality engineering or related role. Strong understanding of QMS (ISO 9001, AS9100) and regulatory requirements. Experience in internal/external audits and process improvement. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
