An exciting post has become available for a Physicians Associate in Vascular. The candidate will work closely with our clinical teams in this busy unit. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who is a team player and keen to learn about vascular surgery. The job will be highly pressurized, but rewarding. The candidate will be involved in daily ward rounds, attending various theatre sessions, clinics and MDTs. The candidate will keep and eye on and manage the day-to-day progress of in patients, working closely with the wider clinical, nursing and admin teams.
The post holder will be expected to manage patients within clinical teams at the direction of the supervising consultant.
The post holder will manage patients in all areas covered by their supervising consultant and clinical team.
To exercise a high degree of personal and professional autonomy when assessing, managing and planning care for a caseload of specific patients with a variety of presentations.
To develop extensive specialist knowledge and experience in your clinical area, acting as a resource to the clinical team and allied health professionals.
To contribute to the trust professional standards and targets.
To support the work of local and national audits.
