GSL Education are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a client school located in Hullfor the upcoming term of September 2024. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will be instrumental in supporting and guiding secondary students, helping them thrive academically and personally.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will-
* Assist class teachers in conducting classes and managing class environment.
* Follow the school’s behaviour management policy to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all.
* Support students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, ensuring they understand and complete their work.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning and review of student support plans.
* Monitor and record student progress, reporting any concerns to the relevant staff.
* Contribute to school events, activities, and extra-curricular programmes.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), the essential requirements include-
* Degree in Education or a related field preferred.
* Previous experience working as Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or in a similar role is appreciated.
* Strong passion for working with children and a commitment to their educational development.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
