This role would suit someone who is already in a junior position or an assistant merchandiser ready to take the next step in their career. The company trade online with high quality fabrics across a range of finished products including curtains, throws, bedding, towels, loungewear and home decorations. Job Specification Updating of line cards and forecasts Liaising with factories and Product Team to ensure shipment dates are met for ongoing and new lines Liaise with Far Est factories and the product team to manage shipment dates for ongoing and new lines Support the Merchandising team and suggest improvements Manage stock intake Manage the intake of stock within given stock turn targets Manage own stock to maximise availability Rolling up container fills Collate sales and stock availability across multiple sales channels Raising of orders in Sage Updating of reports for the department Administrative duties as required Essential Skills Minimum of 1 years experience in a Merchandising role Currently working as a Senior Assistant Merchandiser, Junior Merchandiser or similar Able to work on complex data sets and forecasting Advanced Excel skills Forecasting skills Inquisitive, analytical mind and strong communication skills Attention to detail Enthusiastic & able to work cooperatively with different departments Able to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines whilst attention to detail is paramount Experience of working with Far East factories and understanding of importing and the challenges faced - ideal Critical Path management - ideal Experience of online trading Whats on offer: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Hours are 8-4 or 9-5 with flexible arrangements possible An early finish on your birthday, with a surprise birthday box Access to football tickets Electric charging points at head office ADZN1_UKTJ
