Due to business growth, we have an exciting new opportunity for a HR Operations Manager to join our HR Shared Services team based in Wrexham, North Wales. This opportunity is offered on a permanent basis and reports into the Head of HR Shared Services UK&I and International. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in managing teams within a dynamic, service-oriented setting. This HR Professional should possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and will serve as a representative for HR Shared Services in all internal and external departmental and stakeholder interactions. The HR Operations Manager will lead a team of three, collaborating with the HR Shared Services team, stakeholders, and third-party providers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of HR processes, business change administration, and support for HR campaigns related to employee lifecycle activities in the UK, Ireland, and beyond. As part of HR Shared Services’ transformation, you will responsible for translating legislation and policy changes, and embedding into core processes, systems and reports. You will ensure all changes are documented and communicated to maintain compliance and delivery of a customer-centric, scalable, and high-quality service. Acting as HR process expert, you will partner with the business during periods of change & for more complex HR administrative activities (for example International Mobility), escalating to internal Compensation & Benefit and Employee Relations experts, government bodies or external lawyers as required. Service Delivery In this role your primary focus will be: Operating with a customer centric mindset, monitor daily delivery of activity within the HRSS team to ensure internals KPIs are met, the team are supported, and work is distributed effectively, managing business expectations Vs resource. Governance & Compliance Collaborate with internal stakeholders (such as Local HR, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations & HRIS) to design, implement and monitor key processes, documents and reports linked to Employee Lifecycle core processes & reporting. Projects Own and deliver key process implementation & improvement projects linked to HRSS operational delivery, including effective communication and end user training. Management Operational and People Management responsibility of all HR Tier 1, Tier 2 & Coordination activities, and associated tasks including but not exhaustive of resource and absence management, performance management, coaching and development. To qu alify for this position, you need to have: Minimal GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English CIPD Level 5 qualification (or similar) Experience in Shared Services role within a complex business environment. Experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders in person and virtually. Evidence of working across multisite locations. Demonstrable project management experience.
