Role Description:
As a Sales Systems Manager at HVD Group, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of all our Salesforce applications, and project managing the development our extended portfolio of Sales Systems. Your role will therefore cover a number of different areas, and systems, primarily around the development of our Salesforce ecosystem, including defining the prioritizations and roadmap for development across our systems landscape. The extended sales applications you would be responsible for include among others CPQ, e-signature, market intelligence, a subscription management system, a calendar booking application, various applications being integrated through Zapier, etc, as part of our continuously growing, and evolving systems landscape.
Having been recently acquired by one of the worlds biggest Private Equity firms, HVD Group is going through a rapid growth journey both organically, and through acquisitions, with ambitious growth targets over the upcoming years, and is therefore looking to rapidly scale up its systems landscape accordingly. This role is therefore critical to ensuring we keep our systems landscape state of the art in order to facilitate the continued growth and changes that we are undergoing. We are therefore looking for someone comfortable with continuous change, and who is continuously looking for new ways to improve efficiency, and to bring added value to our organization.
As part of your role, you would be providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to best practices as we scale out our systems landscape. At times, this will include working with, and managing external consultants, and vendors in the integrations, and developments of HVD Group’s sales systems. You will be heavily engaged with various teams and stakeholders across the organization, where having a collaborative, and problem solving attitude, and an ability to manage many ongoing priorities will be essential, along with an ability to ensure continuous timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders in Sales, GTM, Marketing and Customer Success to proactively identify, drive, and build improvements and scalable system solutions that solve business needs.
2. Salesforce Development: Maintain, and manage a prioritized roadmap for the future developments, and integrations required in Salesforce. Conduct all business requirements gathering, documentation, development and testing; and where required leverage external Salesforce consultants or other solution experts. Ensure stakeholders are continuously updated on timelines and expectations for delivery.
3. Budget management: Manage the budgets for systems licenses requirements, in alignment with the leadership teams, and finance as part of annual budgeting process. Provide business cases for any new, additional systems requirements.
4. Vendor relationships: Maintain all IT vendor relationships, including managing vendor selections, benchmarking, and negotiations (in alignment with management and IT).
5. Team leadership: Manage 1 direct report, consisting of a Salesforce Administrator / Business Analyst, ensuring they are delivering quality work in a timely manner, and are continuously updating and communicating with stakeholders on timelines, prioritizations, status’s etc.
6. Continuous Improvement: Work to improve existing Salesforce infrastructure and implement new features and functionality according to best practices. Use data and results to proactively seek out opportunities for improvement and enhancement of our current systems and processes.
Skills and Qualifications required:
1. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. At least 8 years of Sales Systems Management experience. This must include at least 5 years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
3. Proven experience as a Salesforce developer, including a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, its architecture, and its limitations.
4. Big plus would be if you have a Salesforce Architect background.
5. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools.
6. Knowledge of web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
7. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
8. Salesforce developer certifications, such as Platform Developer I and II, are highly essential, with a Salesforce Architect certification highly preferred.
9. License and budget management – ideally have a background managing budgets for licenses, and costs.
Role location:
While we would prefer the role to be located at our Group HQ in Stockholm, we are open to hiring remotely, or based out of our regional offices, including among others, Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Berlin, Manchester, or Linköping.
Travel:
Travel will be limited in this role, but will at times be required for project planning purposes, and execution of larger systems migrations or other systems implementations, in addition to team events.
