Hours: 07:00 - 17:30 rotating Monday to Thursday / Tuesday to Friday.+ 09:00-19:30 (1 in 6 weeks)

Key responsibilities:
All below activities to be carried out under supervision:
13. Carry out daily/weekly PPM’s, Maintenance inspections
14. Carry out Plumbing installations to current regulations
15. Carry out plumbing repairs to site
16. Carry out planned plumbing inspections
17. Detect and correct or report all plumbing building defects
18. General building maintenance and repairs
19. Fill out maintenance worksheets on Service Desk
20. Working at heights from ladders/cherry pickers
21. Repair aspects of the building structure within boundaries of competent skill base
22. Liaise with contractors for specialist works
23. Assist site facilities on maintenance projects and installations in time within budget that delivers expected improvements
24. Assist in the maintenance of the EMA Hub to keep it functional at all times
25. Assist in carrying out all plumbing PPM (Planned and Preventative Maintenance) in line with set schedules for EMA Hub to comply with legislative compliance
26. Support in responding to call out queries and carry out repairs as required
27. Follow electrical maintenance procedures for the EMA Hub
28. Liaise effectively with Colleagues and the Facilities Help Desk with regards to maintenance requests
29. Assist in ensuring the plumbing and electrical components of the EMA Hub are functional and installed within best practice, H&S and regulatory guide lines
30. Contribute to the mapping of historical unmapped site services
You’ll bring to this role:
31. Apprentice trained plumber to at least City and Guilds level 3 Diploma
32. FLT licence preferable
33. DIY skills preferred
34. Full driving licence
35. Skilled with use of all power tools associated with DIY and maintenance
36. 17th Edition wiring regulations trained
37. Computer literate
38. Ability to work under pressure
39. A safety first attitude. You must conduct yourself in an orderly manner within the workplace, ensuring that correct uniform and PPE is worn when required.
