We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join our successful and experienced PE Department. The successful candidate will be an effective classroom practitioner and will be expected to deliver innovative, engaging and challenging lessons that ensure all students succeed as well as contribute fully to the ethos and culture of this flourishing Department.
Candidate should be open to teaching outside the specialism, where appropriate, and would be supported accordingly.
The successful candidate will:-
* be passionate about Physical Education, and all aspects of education
* have the ability to deliver KS4 examination courses (Level 2 OCR Cambridge Nationals in Sport Studies and Sport Science) and KS5 examination courses (Level 3 OCR Cambridge Technicals in Sport & Physical Activity and Level 3 BTEC Health & Social Care) would be preferable;
* have experience or willingness to contribute to the sports leadership delivery which is run through the Leadership and Skills Federation
* be a fully committed teacher who is willing to give up their time and contribute to an extensive extra-curricular programme
* have the highest expectations for all young people;
* be able to enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge students and staff to raise achievement at all levels;
* be self-motivated with excellent inter-personal skills;
* be able to work as part of a team yet has individual skills and initiative.
