Milk Education are working with a Primary school in North Liverpool who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant.
This Teaching Assistant role is to support a child with ASD. You must be confident to support the SEN child. The school has a sensory room and calm room.
The hours of work are 08:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Supporting with learning and developing a child with ASD
* Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Encouraging, supporting, and de-escalating students
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant that is:
* Passionate about enabling every child to fulfill their potential
* Able to contribute to and work as part of a team
* Reliable and flexible to suit the expectations of our schools
* Previous experience working within an educational setting or similar - you must have worked with children in the last 6 months
* Creative, proactive, and enthusiastic individual
* Able to work under own initiative
