Early Years Practitioner Assistant
Contract Type: Part-Time, Temporary

Pay: £80- £100
Start Date: September '25 to April '26 (Opportunity for extension)
What's the job?
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner Assistant to join our team, supporting the development and well-being of children aged 3 to 5 in a warm and welcoming environment. The role will involve working as a key person under the direction of the Nursery Manager to provide a safe, stimulating and high-quality education and care to young children.

Who are you?
1. Hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years (for children aged 3-5).
2. Have a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (essential if qualified after 1st September 2014).
3. Hold Paediatric First Aid training (or be willing to complete it within 3 months).
4. Have experience working in an Early Years environment.
5. Understand how young children learn and develop.
6. Can work effectively with colleagues, parents, and professionals.
7. Have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Framework.

2. Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
3. Promote children's independence, confidence, and curiosity through play-based learning.
4. Work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child's development.
5. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
6. Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold the Early Years Framework.
