Main Duties of the Job
The main duties and responsibilities include performing and interpreting sleep and lung function tests, managing your own time and workload effectively, and teaching and mentoring junior staff and students.

Education & Professional Qualifications
* Degree in Respiratory Clinical Physiology, PTP, Biological Science subject, or equivalent.
* ARTP part 1 & 2 or equivalent.
* RCCP (Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists) registered or equivalent.
* Further education in subjects relevant to respiratory function & physiological measurements.
* Specialist knowledge in practical & theoretical aspects of respiratory physiology & disorders.
Experience
* Post-qualification experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
* Teaching & mentoring junior staff and students (student healthcare scientists & other healthcare professionals).
* Experience of managing own time and workload effectively.
* Experience working independently as well as part of a team.
* Experience of performing and interpreting sleep and lung function tests.
Skills and Attitudes
* Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence.
* Skilled in use of computer/keyboard.
* Knowledge of clinical governance issues e.g. handling complaints, clinical risk management.
* Ability to problem-solve, prioritise and to work to deadlines.

Salary: £35,964 to £43,780 per annum inclusive of HCAS.
