We are offering an exciting and unique opportunity for a Future Careers and Widening Participation Advisor to work with young people across Devon to showcase the opportunities available to them in the NHS and create our future pipeline.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most.
Job responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic individual who can work directly with students of all ages to inspire and educate them about a fulfilling and rewarding career within the NHS. Acting as the conduit for students accessing work placements which will then open up further employment or higher education opportunities to grow our workforce of the future.
The successful candidate must be able to work autonomously in a hybrid role, based in North Devon but will be required to travel across the Trust supporting students.
Working Pattern: 22.5 hours per week, working flexibly to meet the service needs.
Interview Date: Monday 21st October 2024.
You will be asked to undertake a small 5 minute presentation at interview.
Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings.
