Year 6 Teacher Responsibilities
* As a Year 6 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
* Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
* Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents.
Year 6 Teacher Requirements
* A qualified teacher status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent.
* Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams.
* A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results.
* A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching.
* A willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues.
