CrossReach is looking for a dedicated Addictions Worker to support individuals on their recovery journey.
Working in the community across Tayside, you’ll provide vital support to individuals affected by addiction, helping them make positive changes in their lives. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients in day-care and outreach settings, offering one-to-one therapy and tailored support. You'll build trusting relationships, guide people through their challenges using Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and work alongside a team of specialists to track progress and adapt therapy to each person’s needs.
We’re looking for someone with experience in REBT, a strong commitment to professional care, and confidence using Microsoft Office. Ideally, you’ll have qualifications such as an SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, a certificate in Addictions or Counselling, or a degree in Psychology.
Respect for our Christian ethos is important, and you’ll need to be comfortable supporting clients in their spiritual journey if they choose. You must also be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registered with the SSSC.
