Job Description
This role is entry level in retail distribution and requires some basic administration skills. The candidate should have exceptional organisational skills and be able to learn and carry out all the duties mentioned to a high degree of accuracy and speed. It involves some physical handling of stock and boxes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. The import and export of all valuables, through the correct channels, conforming to security and insurance regulations.
2. Stock handling:
1. Pick, process and dispatch all stock for stores, wholesale/franchise, manufacturers and suppliers.
2. Pick, process and receive in stock for stores, wholesale/franchise, manufacturers and suppliers.
3. Process synthetic checks.
4. Ensure accurate storage of all jewellery and loose diamonds.
3. Vault maintenance:
1. To check off the stock physically received from other departments (Quality Control and Diamond Centre).
2. To put away the stock in the vault.
3. Ensure accurate storage of all jewellery and loose diamonds.
4. Ensure stock accuracy at all times.
4. General admin:
1. Ensure all documents scanned accordingly.
2. Assist team with general admin tasks.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience working in distribution is an advantage.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft office excel is desirable.
3. Excellent attention to detail and good organization skills.
4. Ability to multi-task.
5. Team player and can work collaboratively.
