Overview of Responsibilities
This role will have a starting salary of £18,810.
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.

The successful apprentice will gain this through the combination of formal off-the-job training and the opportunity to apply these skills in a real work environment through on-the-job training.
The Role

As a Level 3 Installation Electrician Apprentice, you will play a pivotal role in various aspects of electrical work, including understanding current legislation and codes, electrical principles, and the ability to perform electrical installations according to approved plans. This involves building, wiring, and testing control cubicles, conducting testing and fault-finding on electrical circuits and components, and using electrical meters, calibration equipment, as well as powered and hand tools safely.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Complete national academic qualification as defined by the apprenticeship training standard: Installation and Maintenance Electrician / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.
* Attend designated training provider, develop and attain a good knowledge of technical skills.
* Represent the UKAEA Organisation and attend external outreach and careers events.
Salary
