1. Supporting the manager in ensuring that all staff employed within your service are recruited, developed, supported, supervised, trained and managed in an appropriate and professional manner. 2. Addressing the training and development needs of yourself and staff and ensuring that they are reviewed against St. Annes service objected. 3. Maintaining the quality of the service provided within your defined service. 4. Ensuring that you and staff within your section comply with St. Annes values and beliefs, policies and procedures. In addition that any legal or contractual obligations are fully met. 5. Ensuring that your service(s) have access to, and use the best current thinking and practice in the delivery of those services. 6. Contributing to the successful future development of St. Annes by highlighting opportunities within the broad corporate aims of the organisation. This will include contributions to policy and procedures and to service developments. 7. Monitoring your service(s) in such a way that timely corrections are possible. 8. Establishing and maintaining effective links within your teams, with other organisations, and agencies or workers whose role(s) may impact upon your service area.
