About the Company JKC (maintenance) ltd are a design and build, fit out and refurbishment company with an enviable list of blue chip companies and well-known establishments on their client list. Due to an increased order book we are looking to expand our team on some very exciting projects. We are looking for an individual who is looking to be challenged and bring an extra dimension to JKC, whilst you will require a good knowledge of project management we are also looking for someone with a design background and strong organizational skills. This position would suit someone who is ambitious and enjoys thinking outside the box. About the Role You will oversee and manage design and construction projects to ensure timely completion within agreed budgets. Manage teams of site managers, architects, design consultants, contractors, and subcontractors on multiple projects. Manage client expectations. You will provide guidance on construction, including selection of contractors, procurement and contracting methods, schedule, and subcontractors. Ensure the efficient use of resources throughout the project life cycle. You will oversee the creation, managing and oversight of project budgets for spend approvals. Help develop design guidelines, including space plan, finishes, systems, equipment, partnering with the Workplace Operations team. Responsibilities Design project management experience in a corporate environment, with experience of using project management tools and methodologies beneficial Familiarity with AutoCAD Familiarity with architectural plans and details Able to meet business outcomes and focus on meeting all performance targets Collaborate and work well with others to meet targets Proven ability to initiate and accomplish results with improvement initiatives University educated a preference but we are open to talented individuals from different career paths Required Skills Design project management experience in a corporate environment, with experience of using project management tools and methodologies beneficial.
