Description
TCE have just announced a significant investment of £60 million to establish a new pharmaceutical-grade sodium bicarbonate plant in Northwich, Cheshire. The new plant, projected to be operational by 2027.
The facility will effectively triple TCEL's current output of pharmaceutical-grade sodium bicarbonate in the UK, positioning the company to better meet growing demand from pharmaceutical companies.
The Project team have a 12 month requirement for an experienced Project Planner Scheduler with a background of supporting projects of this size.
You will support the Project Manager with schedule planning, coordinating tasks and monitoring the timelines of scheduled activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop project schedules level 1-4 for major project to build a Pharmaceutical Grade Sodium Bicarbonate Production facility.
2. Work with the project discipline leads to develop a full list of project activities and deliverables.
3. Develop, implement and maintain an effective scheduling management system.
4. Monitor project timelines and deadlines.
5. Provide weekly schedule update to the project manager.
6. Identify potential project schedule delays and facilitate interventions.
7. Map resource planning for optimal budget control vs progress.
8. Deputise for the PM to chair multi-discipline scheduling meetings.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We are seeking someone with:
1. an in-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the chemical industry.
2. advanced proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project.
3. a minimum of 5 years working on capital projects.
4. excellent organisational, time management and communication skills.
5. a degree in project management (desirable).
