UCFS is looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others! We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time (32hr) Resident Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and providing excellent care. As a Resident Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, promoting their overall health and well-being, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
This position will be scheduled for 11pm-7am, every other weekend required.
Essential Duties:
* Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed
* Administer medication according to physician orders and document accordingly
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents
* Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for residents and their families
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the highest level of care for residents
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in eldercare or related field preferred
* Medication Administration certification required
* Home Health Aide or CNA certification or equivalent preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Compassionate and patient demeanor
* Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
