Job Description
Are you an experienced sales person within the hospitality sector and have a passion for delivering exceptional events on every occasion?
We are looking for someone who will play a key role in driving new membership sign-ups and managing all of our exciting customer events across our Mecca venues in the Yorkshire region.
This is an exciting role for someone who has experience of working within large venues, taking accountability for event promotion, sales, planning and event delivery with both customers and team.
You will manage and lead an operational service to always deliver an outstanding experience, shaping and influencing the business to drive its success.
You will focus on market opportunities to drive the acquisition and retention of new customers, by ensuring the welcome journey of all new members is a fantastic experience and one that encourages them to return again and again!
Your adaptability will mean that you can get along with different people and work across all sections of our venues in the Yorkshire region. You like to work hard and enjoy listening to our customers to find ways you can make their visit special. You are friendly with a smile that’s always on and committed to making our venues a place to excite and entertain.
This role would be based at our venue in Wakefield, with an expectation to travel to surrounding venues in Leeds.
It will be required that you host the customers at events; therefore, the role will include evenings and weekends.
Salary: £31,930 per annum, with the OTE up to £10k bonus per year
