Job summary We are looking for a caring assistant to join our Physiotherapy team. The job involves helping run classes, individual sessions with patients as well as administrative and cleaning duties. You will be required to be flexible and adapt to the changing requirements of the department. The role will be based across two or three sites across Swindon. You will also be expected to work on Orthopaedic weekends. If you have had some experience dealing with patients this could be the right role for you. Main duties of the job To carry out specific tasks with confidence and competence as instructed by therapists whilst demonstrating sound initiative. To assist the therapists where appropriate with assessment and treatment of patients and, where appropriate, with patients' continued management including implementation and supervision of exercise regimes whilst under supervision from the therapist. To communicate frequently with therapists with regard to any change in patient status, behaviour, ability and response to therapeutic intervention.
