About the role We are delighted to share that we are recruiting for an ambitious and hard-working Online Assistant Merchandiser to join our exciting new F&F Online Commercial department within the Home & Clothing teams here at Tesco on a permanent contract. Tesco is a leading multinational retailer and as an Online Assistant Merchandiser at Tesco, you will play a huge role within the team. Working in the Merchandising department, you'll help support your Online Merchandising Planning Manager to ensure products are ranged and launch online at the right time. You will be responsible for Providing merchandising support to keep the online department running efficiently, preparing analysis for your manager (incl. Monday trade analysis) and collaborating cross functionally. Help build and curate balanced online ranges that meet customer needs alongside sales, stock and profit targets Supporting the MPM in preparation for sign off and strategy; analysing history, trends, best and worst, Pareto analysis and collating information from different teams across the business Collate and share market and competitor insight, so we can understand what our customers really want Leading all aspects of the online critical paths, ensuring online range launch & product availability. Support with new launches and events. Deliver online product enrichment to ensure range data available for online sale Resolving or calling out supply chain/ replenishment issues, helping the team to hit stock and availability targets Prepare analysis which helps your manager to handle risk, suggesting any stock and markdown management opportunities Scheduling and implementing promotions and markdowns Collaboration with commercial teams, online operations, central merchandising, trade planning and distribution & fulfilment teams to drive end to end process Providing merchandising support to keep the online department running efficiently, preparing analysis for your manager (incl.
