Due to internal development, we have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Technology & Transformation team as a Senior PMO Analyst. We are amidst a key and exciting time with a large transformation agenda and were looking for Senior PMO Analysts with a breadth of experience to support the evolution of our Transformation function.
You will support the delivery of the of the Societys strategic priorities by providing direct support to projects, programmes, and the portfolio of change. Youll champion a continuous improvement culture, providing expert guidance in project management best practice, guiding the successful delivery of projects that elevate our business and enhance the customer journey and experience.
You'll be curious about the external market and will champion and embed best practice standards while driving continuous improvement and new ways of working at every opportunity. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PMO Analyst who can bring energy, pace and a drive for continuous improvement to this role and the team.
Heres a taste of what you will be doing as a Senior PMO Analyst at Nottingham Building Society: -
- Project Management Office lead on assigned projects or programmes including supporting change initiatives in the demand pipeline.
- Analysis and production of management information and reports for senior management to support the successful delivery of the Societys Portfolio of Change.
- Identification and implementation of continuous improvement to project management governance documentation and processes.
- Ensure that project and portfolio governance standards and policies are followed, recommending and undertaking remedial action in conjunction with project managers. Carry out health check reviews and provide feedback to projects and governance committees.
- Support benefits management by ensuring that all projects have clearly articulated benefits with targets for realisation and that this is reviewed throughout the project lifecycle, engaging with the Benefits Manager to confirm alignment or deviation.
- Arrange and facilitate key project workshops across the lifecycle of the project including RAID reviews and lessons learned workshops or retrospectives.
- Advise on the maintenance and planning of the resources required to deliver projects and programmes in the change portfolio to ensure the effective use of staff.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement across technology, process and people including your own personal and professional development.
About you: -
An experienced PMO Analyst with relevant transferable experience.
Ability to understand detail of a complex nature and take the initiative to drive forwards continuous improvement.
Experience in coaching colleagues to develop the capability of the Project Management Office.
A firm comprehension of professional best practice in project and programme management.
Strong stakeholder management skills, able to build strong working relationships across the business and with third parties, including influencing and negotiating skills.
