Senior or Associate Building Surveyor
(Industrial and Commercial Focus)
We are representing a leading consultancy that partners with a major developer and asset manager specialising in the industrial and commercial sectors.
Operating across the UK, this consultancy provides a full range of services, overseeing a portfolio exceeding 15 million sq. ft and over 800 tenants. They collaborate closely with institutions, financial partners, and occupiers to deliver high-quality projects and strategic asset management solutions.
The Role
They are seeking a senior building surveyor or associate to join their growing team of chartered surveyors. This hybrid position involves a 60/40 split between consultancy responsibilities and client-side project work. Projects are UK-wide and cover a mix of dilapidations, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and project management. Some of their latest projects include:
* £20m industrial development combining new build and refurbishment
* 40,000 sq. ft. commercial refurbishment, acting as PM/EA/QS
* 20,000 sq. ft. refurbishment valued at £1m, acting as PM/EA
About You
* Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with significant commercial experience
* Strong expertise in both client-side and consultancy aspects of building surveying
* Proven ability to manage projects, negotiate effectively, and provide strategic advice
* Team leadership experience would be highly beneficial
